I often receive identical emails from constituents which are sent via campaign organisations. I appreciate that these issues are of importance to local residents but the volume of campaign emails now being generated, particularly during this pandemic, is affecting my office’s ability to respond to urgent casework enquiries.  I regret, therefore, that I am unable to respond individually to these standard emails.

Instead, where there is clearly a widespread interest, the Government responses to campaigns will be placed on my website.
